Privacy Policy
This policy explains how YieldHQ collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information, for our website and our AI agent service. Please read it together with our Terms of Service.
01Who we are
YieldHQ LLC ("YieldHQ," "we," "us") is a Colorado limited liability company that provides AI agent software to businesses. This policy covers two situations: information we collect from visitors to our own website and prospective customers, and information processed through the AI agents we provide to our business customers.
02Two roles: our data and our customers' data
It is important to understand the difference.
- When you visit our website or contact us, YieldHQ decides how your information is used. This policy governs that, and we are the responsible party.
- When you interact with an AI agent that one of our business customers has set up, for example a chat widget or voice agent on that business's website or phone line, that business decides what is collected and why. In that case the business is responsible for its own privacy practices, and YieldHQ processes the information on its behalf to provide the service. Questions about that data should go to the business you were interacting with.
03Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Contact and account information you give us, such as your name, business name, email address, and phone number, when you sign up, request information, or become a partner.
- Payment information needed to process your subscription. Payments are handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
- Information you put into your AI agent, such as your business details, prices, and policies, and, for our business customers, the conversations and contact details your own customers share with the agent.
- Usage and device information, such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and how you use our website and service, collected through standard logging and cookies.
- Communications you send us, such as support emails.
04How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service and our website.
- Set up and support customer accounts and AI agents.
- Process payments and manage subscriptions and partner payouts.
- Respond to inquiries and provide customer support.
- Send service messages and, where permitted, occasional updates about our products. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time.
- Protect the security and integrity of the Service, prevent fraud, and comply with law.
We limit our collection and use of personal information to what is reasonably necessary for these purposes.
05How the AI processes information
Our agents use artificial intelligence, including large language models provided by third parties, to generate responses. Information entered into an agent is processed to produce those responses and to operate the Service. We do not use the personal information in customer agents to train our own or third parties' foundational AI models. The AI providers that power the Service process data under their own terms.
06How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only as follows:
- Service providers who help us run the business, such as our AI platform provider, AI model providers, hosting, payment processing, and communication tools. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
- Our business customers, where you interacted with an agent they operate. That information belongs to them.
- Legal and safety reasons, when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the Service.
- Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
07How long we keep information
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service, and after that for the period needed to meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it. Our business customers control the retention of the conversation data in their own agents.
08Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to: know what personal information we hold about you; access a copy of it; correct it; delete it; and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, which we do not do. You may also opt out of marketing messages at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address below. We will respond as required by applicable law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If your request concerns data held in an agent operated by one of our business customers, we will direct you to that business or assist them in responding.
09Cookies and tracking
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, remember your preferences, and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Where required, we honor recognized browser-based opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control.
10Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11Children's privacy
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it. Our business customers are responsible for ensuring their own use of the Service complies with laws protecting children's data.
12International users
YieldHQ is based in the United States, and we process and store information in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand your information will be processed here. If you are in a region with specific data protection laws and require a data processing agreement, contact us.
13Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, and at least once a year where required. If we make a material change, we will provide notice, for example by posting the updated policy with a new date or by email. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated policy.
14Contact us
For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact us at support@yieldhq.ai. If you interacted with an AI agent operated by one of our business customers and have questions about that data, please contact that business directly.
